On the Forbidden Letters - by Carlotta de Renzi, Jean Fenelon
and Antoine de la Censerie [RFC hereafter]

Saint George

'The transformation of energy and the elixir of life refer to the Self, the ordering and unifying center of the total psyche, the central source of life energy, the foundation of our being, which is most simply described as God.' [Edward Edinger in Ego and Archetype/edited by RFC]

'In the fourth century Nicean Creed [not in the canonical version/RFC], Jesus fought the serpent, descended into hell for three days and was reborn, fully divine, from this experience in the underworld. There are echoes of the Apollo/Indra expiation here.' [Drake Stutesman in Snake/S hereafter/italics ours]

'September 4 1986: resurrection.
a) Our man is on the floor on his back. He had his eyes closed during the whole resurrection. A 'thread' (very thin) is closing around his neck. The head is decapitated by that 'thread'.
b) The stone is produced about where the liver is. The stone ignites the Kundalini fire (the fire can actually be heard) and starts to move about, increasingly violently. Fire getting stronger. Arms and legs break into pieces.
c) The snake is driven out. Our friend doesn't know where it went. Up the spine, but after that: no clue. (Into the earth?)
d) The wheel starts to spin and is raised to the forehead.
e) One starts to descend into the earth. After 2 minutes our man 'fell asleep' or passed out in another hypnagogic way. Hypnagogic, because he couldn't remember that moment the morning after. If you lose consciousness you remember. So he 'fell asleep'.
f) 10.30 in the morning. He woke up. Coccyx and back of the head firmly attached to the floor. As said before, it took him about 30 minutes to free himself.
g) September 5 1986 : the top-chakra opens.' [The Paris 4/italics ours]

'There is nothing gnostic about alchemy. Gnosticism is dualistic, alchemy monistic. The alchemists only used gnosticism to drop their seeds.' [Ford]

[ New York City - Washington Square Arch ]

Part 1

It has been proposed by the Paris 4, although with reservations [see footnote 1], that only certain homosexuals [see footnote 2] possess the necessary balance of the microcosmic male and female [see footnote 3] to safely conduct the forces of resurrection[see footnote 4]. Resurrection being phase one of the Great Work of Alchemy: the furnace of Kundalini. A work serving deification of a human being from within, and possibly, through such a human being then, of all of creation in the end too, if creation is in reality microcosmic, and the world hence...

'... my projection.' [Schopenhauer]

This is intriguing, homosexuality being a requirement for apotheosis, since so little seems known about the cause of homosexuality. Because in spite of the fact that...

'... the accumulation of evidence from independent laboratories across the world has shown that the biological differences between gay and straight people cannot be ignored...' [Wilson and Rahman in Born Gay/BG hereafter]

... and we also know that...

'...sexual orientation is largely determined by the time of birth, partly by genetics, but more specifically by hormonal activity in the womb arising from various sources...'[BG]

...it remains a mystery...

'...how homosexuality could survive in the face of evolutionary forces*, especially given its genetic component.' [BG]

[*Alchemy is evolution proper. [The CE2] [see footnote 5]

In their brain...

'...gay men are found to be more like women, and lesbians show similarities to men.' [BG] The brain of gay men and lesbian women...

'...seems to be cross-sex shifted in certain respects, more than those of heterosexuals.' [BG]

These fascinating details will of course not keep religions from saying that gay's are...

'...stubbornly sinful people, whose behaviour is an affront to the divine plan.' [BG] A song that has been sung since the dawn of time. Burns for example reminds us that...

'...in ancient Egypt Set was worshipped with obscene homosexual rituals. We are told that the rituals performed for Set and Sirius [see footnote 6] were so horrible and debased, that later rulers of Egypt defaced their temples and obelisks.' But even in our age...

'...arguments against the spiritual validity of homosexual rites can be found in the writings of modern exponents of Wicca, Thelema, Qabalah, and the Western Esoteric Tradition in general.' [Hine] Wendy Doniger points out that...

'...homosexual love represents what Mary Douglas has taught us to recognize as a major category error. Something that doesn't fit into any existing cubbyhole. "Matter out of place". In a word: dirt.' Doniger tells us we may...

'...do well to recall the ways in which homophobic language often employs dirt-symbolism. Traditional religious texts regard the homosexual union as a mutually polluting combination of the worst of both worlds: sterility and lust.'

It is therefore suggested within the internet-discussion on the alchemical theory of the Paris 4 that the Stone of Alchemy 'lies in dirt' and 'is rejected by the builders' (we all!) because of the possible homosexual connection. A suggestion Gary Osborn sees as...

'...quite unique and a revolutionary explanation.'

An explanation he's...

'...trying to get his head around.'

Part 2

If the Gospel [see http://www.world-mysteries.com/PhilipGardiner/forbidden_letters_16.htm ]  is 'but a vehicle for alchemy', and homosexuality a requirement for alchemy, then the somewhat gay impression the mythical figure of Christ gives us (God knows what has been removed by the church during the Dark Ages), would be explained: the alchemist writer wanting to communicate the secret connection between homosexuality and the Work of the Sun in the Solar Hero.

'When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman, behold thy son. After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own.' [John 19:26,27]

A few weeks ago though an apparent Dan Brown fan on a French Forum on which the Forbidden Letters were discussed sent us a PM asking...

'Why would Jesus be gay and kiss Mary Magdalene on her mouth? Why would she be called the companion of the saviour 'loved by Him more than all the disciples and often kissed on her mouth?' This doesn''t sound like a gay Jesus to me.'

This kissing on the mouth though needn't have a sexual connotation. The Gnostics saw a kiss on the mouth as a symbol for transmitting secret knowledge. And Mary Magdalene isn't the only one who gets secret knowledge transmitted in that way. In the Second Apocalypse of James for example Jesus kisses James on his mouth too, transmitting knowledge.

'And He kissed my mouth. He took hold of me, saying: My beloved! Behold, I shall reveal to you those things that neither heavens nor their archons have known.'

In his Evangelical Myths Robertson has probably shed important light on the many Marys of Jesus, when he informs us that this relation points to an old myth...

'.. where a god of Palestine appears in the changing relation of lover and son towards a mythical Mary. This is a natural process in the oldest theosophy, and one which appears with variations in the myth of Mithra, Adonis, Attis, Osiris and Dionisius, all of whom were brought into relation (or combination) with mother goddesses, and who appear either as a consort, or as a feminine eidolon.'

('The sequence of seven paintings by Fra Angelico of the seven stages of Mary illustrate the way in which the two Marys, the "virgin" and the "sinner" Magdalene complement one another as the Goddess counterpart of Jesus as the dying and resurrected God. It is as if they are really manifestations of the more ancient Aphrodite-Mari. Notice the transfiguration and subsequent humiliation of the sacred king reccuring as central motifs, just as the Babylonian king was annually humiliated.' [Morante and Baldini])

So much for the alchemist writer of the New Testament having dumped as many circum-mediterranean saviour-themes as possible in his work. So it would appeal, both consciously and unconsciously, to as many people as possible. Yes, there is...

'...hardly a hero or myth of importance that cannot be traced in that basket we call the Gospel.' [Onny]

Part 3

'The terrestrial sun [i.e. the one in space/RFC] is only the image or reflection of the invisible, celestial sun.' [Franz Hartmann in the Secret of the Rosicrucians]

'Soma and fire are entirely identical in Hindu literature. The drink of immortality was stirred by the the Hindu Gods like fire.' [Carl Jung in Psychology of the Unconscious]

Carl Jung, in spite of all his brilliance, completely missed...

'...the deeper level of Resurrection.'[S] And thereby the deeper level of alchemy. Jung describes Resurrection as...

'... a re-establishment of human existence after death.' [Concerning Rebirth/CR hereafter] He failed to see that rebirth and resurrection are one and the same thing.*

[*One is resurrected from the dead, meaning from the not through holy fire (kundalini) reborn, and thereby reborn in that fire. Hence 'through baptism by fire, man, who was before dead, is made a living soul' [aurora consurgens]. The term Resurrection is misleading and was only created by religions who thought we are to be resurrected after our biological death. The correct term would be Erection. From the ones around us not reborn through kundalini-fire.]

Jung is furthermore of the opinion that rebirth is not a process we can...

'...in any way observe. It is entirely beyond sense perception.'[CR] He thinks we have to do here with...

'...a purely psychic reality, which is transmitted to us only indirectly through personal statement. One speaks of rebirth, one professes rebirth, one is filled with rebirth. This we accept as sufficiently real.' [CR] He even conjectures (at the age of 58!), that the Mass is...

'... an extramundane and extra-temporal act in which Christ is sacrified and then resurrected
in the transformed substances.'
[CR/italics ours]

And assures us...

'...this rite of his sacrificial death is not a repetition of the historical event, but the original, unique and eternal act.' [CR/italics ours]

This all shows how hidden alchemy is. And this must not surprise us. Nobody could have cracked the codes of alchemy in Jung's days. Because alchemy, in its deifying quality, is strictly a Latter Day event. As Jay Weidner and Vincent Bridges, the authors of A Monument to the End of Time, tell us...

'...alchemy is somehow connected to eschatology, that is, the timing of the end of the world.'

And it is, in our opinion, through the Forbidden Letters we now know how those two exactly are connected.

Jezreel Tomb

'When we examine the Resurrection narratives, it is obvious that they cannot be reconciled. This is strong evidence for the theory that the resurrection never took place, but gradually grew as a legend among the early Church.' [van den Heuvel]

'The Christianity that emerged in the first to fourth century was a reinterpreted synthesis of the religious worldviews of the ancient Mediterranean world.' [Radford Ruether in Goddesses]

'The Gospel never happened.' [The Paris 4]

1] 'It was this man who said to our gay man that 'only certain homosexuals posess the necessary balance of the microcosmic male and female to safely conduct the kundalini-fire'. We failed to point that out. If one just reads the Letters and part 2 as published, one might think that we had some kind of 'divine revelation' on this.'[The Paris 4]

2] 'All possible connections between deification through alchemy and homosexuality will have been effectively removed from art and literature in the past 5000 years. The best I could do was Springmeyer and his 'Sodomy has it's own secret chamber on the caballistic Tree of Life'.' [Pierre de Beaumont]

3] 'We hear of Christ's androgyny in Catholic mysticism.' [Carl Jung in Archetypes and the collective Unconscious]

4] 'The theory would be then that macrocosmic androgyny is needed to host microcosmic androgyny created through the alchemical wedding. That only the macrocosmic hermaphrodite, and we are talking about a psychological hermaphrodite here, can support the microcosmic hermaphrodite: Shiva and Shakti united. (The terms androgynous and hermaphroditic are interchangeable here.)' [Duquesnoy/presented with kind permission/partially edited and italics by RFC]

5] 'Hartís essential theory was not new but some of his associated ideas and theories to support his argument were. He alleged that Darwinís theory of Evolution could not be correct, as there wasnít one missing link, there were hundreds if not thousands, and that there must be another explanation as to how Mankind got here and developed.

At the same time, he pointed out that somewhat strangely, there were six areas of population scattered across the globe that almost out of nowhere, and starting 10,000 years ago, suddenly erupted into developed civilization. They went, almost overnight historically speaking, from being hunter/gatherers to sophisticated farmers. They sowed crops, the crops we still grow today, which seemed to appear from nowhere and whose original wild variants we have still not identified.' [Stuart Miller/italics ours]

6] 'The term Sethians, as used by Hippolytus, is not only puzzling on this account, but also because his summary differs entirely from the scraps of information on the system of the Sethites supposed to have been mentioned in his lost Syntagma, and allied to the doctrine of the NicolaÔtans by the epitomizers. In the latter fragments the hero Seth was chosen as the type of the good man, the perfect, the prototype of Christ. Can it possibly be that there is a connection between the name "Seth" and the mysterious "Setheus" of the Codex Brucianus? And further, are we to look for the origin of the Sethians along the Egyptian line of tradition of the Hyksos-cult, the Semitic background of which made Seth the Mystery-God?'
