GOD – History is Backwards
- Exclusive from guest writer Doug Yurchey
The proposed film is a semi-remake of George Pal’s 1961
classic ‘Atlantis, the Lost Continent.’ In today’s age of
Avatar, Clash of the Titans, blue-screens and CGI special
effects…doing the quintessential ATLANTIS FILM is a must!
‘GOD’ (actually a post-Atlantis film) coming out in 2011
would be the exact 50th anniversary of the George Pal film.
New film spans from 5000 BC. to 2000 BC. |

Marijuana Conspiracy
Marijuana does NOT pose a threat to the general public.
Marijuana is very much a danger to the oil companies,
alcohol, tobacco industries and a large number of chemical
corporations. Various big businesses, with plenty of dollars
and influence, have suppressed the truth from the people. |

Voynich Manuscript

Mysterious Manuscript in the World'. To this day this

The Baghdad Battery
The ancient battery in the Baghdad Museum, as well as those
others which were unearthed in Iraq, are all dated from the
Parthian occupation between 248 BCE and 226 CE. Dr.
Konig also found copper vases plated with silver in the
Baghdad Museum, excavated from Sumerian sites in southern
Iraq, dating back to at least 2500 BCE. |

Knowledge vs Instinct
Our brain is a tool for thinking, but not its cause. Our
brain has not invented thinking, the thinking invented the
brain.
Fascinating aspect of studies of the inborn patterns of
animal behavior is that such behavior is not based on a
response to perfect perception of the outside world (in our
mind) but to an important aspect of it.

Lee Irwin Pringle Aliens Part 2:
Why we should fear them
Our species has achieved so much over the past few centuries. Those who
created us know our potential and are quite aware that if left to our own
devices, we’ll be orbiting their homeworld in a few centuries time. They have
many reasons to fear us, but are safe while they maintain their technological
superiority. They also know this won’t last forever, eventually we’ll be on par
with them and one day we might even surpass them. Ultimately, it’s not our worst
qualities they’re afraid of, but our best. |

2012, a Planet up for Grabs
-
new article by Rich Anders
On a field trip in Italy Berkley geologist Walter Alvarez
found a thin layer of an unusual material at the boundary of
cretaceous and tertiary strata. He sent a sample to his
father, the Nobel laureate and physicist Luis Alvarez who
also worked at Berkely. It turned out that this sample
contained a high percentage of Iridium, as found only in
asteroids. This solved the mystery of the dinosaurs abruptly
disappearing from the fossil record. |

Female Genital Mutilation
FGM/C is a violation of the physical and psychosexual
integrity of girls and inherently contradicts gender
equality. There are many international treaties and
conventions that condemn harmful practices. A specific focus
on female genital mutilation/cutting is found in UN General
Assembly Resolution 56/128 on Traditional or Customary
Practices Affecting the Health of Women and Girls (2001) and
in the Protocol on the Rights of Women in Africa, or Maputo
Protocol (2003). Despite of these efforts, at least 2
million girls undergo FGM each year... |

On April 14, 2010, the volcano beneath Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull glacier
erupted, pushing a cloud of ash and particles 6-9,000 metres into the air.
A mountainous plume of ash generated by an Icelandic volcano is costing
the global airline industry US$200 million a day in lost revenue, with no
clear estimate on when regular service will resume that figure is expected
to rise. Concerns the microscopic particles could cause aircraft
malfunctions shut down air space over Britain, Ireland, France, Denmark,
Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belgium and other countries. Eurocontrol, the
European air traffic agency, said airline service was cut by more than
half, with only 11,000 flights expected to operate in Europe - compared to
the usual 28,000.
Is our modern technology making us extremely
vulnerable to natural disasters? Don't

Science behind the 2012 Doomsday
Iceland Volcano eruption halted air traffic in Europe. Thousands of flights were cancelled.
As electronic technologies have become more sophisticated and more embedded into
everyday life, they have also become more vulnerable to solar activity. On
Earth, power lines and long-distance telephone cables might be affected by
auroral currents, as happened in 1989. Radar, cell phone communications, and GPS
receivers could be disrupted by solar radio noise. Experts who have studied the
question say there is little to be done to protect satellites from a
Carrington-class flare. In fact, a recent paper estimates potential damage to
the 900-plus satellites currently in orbit could cost between $30 billion and
$70 billion.
